Kayla Shefer
While her day job is that of an certified Occupational Therapist, Kayla is also a Vinyasa Yoga teacher. She earned her 200hr qualification in peak pose sequencing vinyasa flow yoga style, completing her training in Cape Town.
Her classes offer yoga asanas and culturally rooted Hindu philosophies to facilitate your movement, but essentially the practice is yours to make your own. She intends to hold an accessible space where you have the opportunity to befriend and grow in love for the vessel in which you move through in this human experience – a chance to connect with your own body and achieve your own goals.
Yoga classes facilitated by Kayla range from power vinyasa classes to slow flows, inspired by the natural cycles of the womb and moon. She is passionate about the mind-body-spirit connection which includes a wholistic embodiment of movement, spirituality, art, culture and connection. She is keen on growing with her students in physical strength and over all health & well being, and hopes to form a community committed to holistic growth and positive change grounded in loving-kindness.
